Theodore Donahue

Theodore started karate at the age of five while still a preschool student in 2012.  He earned his first degree junior black belt at the age of nine, and in April of 2018 became a 2nd degree junior black belt. As a young black belt, Theodore really enjoys sharing his knowledge and teaching the youngest of new students at FSDC.

During his underbelt time, he most enjoyed participating in local area karate tournaments especially participating in Katas.  Theodore attended his first Isshinryu Worlds Tournament at the rank of Blue Belt.  During that first World’s tournament, he won first place in sparring, second place in weapons and third in kata growing his excitement to keep challenging to get better.  Since then, he has developed his specialty in kata, succeeding to win numerous 1st place trophies at multiple tournaments.

Outside of karate, Theodore spends his time reading and playing travel hockey.  He has especially enjoyed the complementary skills that karate and hockey bring to both sports that has made him stronger at both.
